Mission
Our mission is to ignite the love and passion for STEM subjects amongst the underprivileged students in our community with the help of fun and interactive ways to learn the subjects like using board games or live demonstrations. Our main aim is to break the barriers of learning and remove the fear and overwhelm of learning these subjects which comes from text- book rote learning where they neither understand or appreciate the core concepts. And thereby it will open the future opportunities in STEM for these underprivileged students which only privileged and/or naturally meritorious students have.
Impact
From a single school where I taught Math, with the help of my co-founder, we have now expanded to 4 schools with 20 student volunteers, teaching 5 subjects and have clocked 260 teaching hours and impacted 190 students so far. The impact we have derived as a group is a combination of measurable outcomes as well as a sense of fulfillment which only we as educators can feel.
